Marland Monday: “Hello Barbara.”

Hi everyone.

First, I want to thank everyone for your kind words about my dad and his passing. As I wrote before, he made fun of my soap obsession. I would then say, “Well, Dad, how are the 49ers doing these days? Didn’t you call the other day to learn when the Giants are playing next week?”

For today’s Marland Monday, the soap father I’m writing about died several times and was never eulogized kindly.Who am I talking about?
